HastelloyC-276 Material introduction
HastelloyC-276(UNS N10276/W.Nr.2.4819)The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in oxidation and reduction states. Excellent resistance to spot corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The alloy is suitable for various chemical process industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. The higher content of molybdenum and chromium makes the alloy resistant to chloride ions, and tungsten further improves its corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-276 is one of the only materials that can resist the corrosion of moist chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solution. The alloy has significant corrosion resistance to high concentration chloride solution (such as ferric chloride and copper chloride).

HastelloyC-276 Heat treatment process
1.HastelloyC-276 The daily solution treatment temperature range is 1100℃-1160℃.
2.The cooling method is water quenching. The materials with thickness less than 1.5mm can also be cooled by rapid air cooling. If air cooling is adopted, it shall be cooled from 1000 ℃ to 600℃.
3.During heat treatment, the work must be kept clean.
