Monel400 Material introduction
Monel400(UNS NO4400/W. Nr.2.4360) is a corrosion resistant nickel copper alloy with the largest amount and the most extensive use and the best comprehensive performance. Due to the difference in chemical composition, it can have many brands, but there is no significant difference in corrosion resistance between them. This alloy is a solution alloy that can only be hardened by cold working. It has high strength and toughness in a wide temperature range and excellent resistance to many corrosive environments.
Monel400 alloy is widely used in many fields, especially in marine and chemical processes. Typical applications are pumps and valves; Pump and impeller shaft; Fixings and fasteners for marine applications; Power and electronic components; Spring; Chemical equipment; Oil, gas and fresh water tanks; Crude oil static device; Process vessels and pipes; Boiler water supply heaters and other heat exchangers and deaerating heaters.
