MonelK-500 Material introduction
MonelK-500(UNS N05500/W.Nr.2.4374)The alloy has the same corrosion resistance as Monel400, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness. It has good heat corrosion resistance and long-term organizational stability. It is mainly used to manufacture turbine blades and gas turbine blades with operating temperature below 750 ℃ on aeroengines; Used for manufacturing fasteners and springs on ships; Pump and valve parts on chemical equipment; Scraper blade on paper making equipment, etc.

MonelK-500 Heat treatment method
Aging treatment: 590 ℃ - 610,6-10h, furnace cooling to 480 ℃ at a cooling rate of 8 ℃ - 15 ℃, air cooling. The other method is furnace cooling to 535 ℃, holding at 535 ℃ for 6h, furnace cooling to 480 ℃, holding for 8h and air cooling.
