Nimonic93 Material introduction

Nimonic93(UNS NO7093) It is a precipitation hardening nickel base alloy containing high cobalt and chromium, with high strength and good structural stability. It is used below 815 ℃ and has good comprehensive properties. Turbine blades, small engine turbine discs and fasteners for aeroengines. The alloy has good hot working plasticity and can be used to supply plates, bars and forgings.

Nimonic93 Part heat treatment process

The turbine disk blank can be solution treated first, and then aged under argon protection after machining, or it can be machined after complete heat treatment. The single layer of billet is placed horizontally in the temperature equalizing zone of the heat treatment furnace to slowly raise the temperature, and the billet is cooled dispersedly after being taken out of the furnace.
